 I lived on the 'Hill' with my parents and brothers from 1958 until 1974.

I'll never forget the walk from the bus stop at the bottom of Dagnam Park and the walk uphill to Swindon Lane. Those shopping bags got very heavy. I was on the 'Hill' last April, not much has changed in 33 years except Central Park wood was empty of young people playing, the same with Dagnam woods.

I have very fond memories of the 'Hill'. Its a shame all the boys and girls who played in the Swindon Lane area in those bygone days will probably never meet again.
